Arrive Seminyak

Settle into a beachfront villa. Walk Petitenget for the first sunset.

Ubud rice valleys

A morning yoga session, the Sacred Monkey Forest, lunch at Locavore.

Sidemen

Move east to the rice valleys. Walk, swim in a river pool, dinner at the homestay.

Amed coast

Black-sand snorkelling, the USS Liberty wreck at Tulamben, sunrise from Mount Agung.

Temple ceremony

Dressed in sarong, seated at the back of the priest's compound, on a date the Balinese calendar chooses for you.

Cross to Uluwatu

Cliffside finish. Sunset Kecak fire dance at the temple.

Uluwatu surf & sun

Beach club afternoons. Optional surf lesson at Medewi.

Day-sail to Nusa Lembongan

A traditional jukung across to the quieter islands for snorkelling and a beach lunch.

When is the best time?

April–October is the dry season; July–August is peak. April and October are our favourite shoulder windows.

Is ten days too long?

We argue it's the minimum. Anything less and you're in transit between the two Balis.
